Data center policy involves electricity demand, water use, construction, and the costs of serving new facilities. A pause on construction is different from conditions on permits or utility rates.
U.S. policy toward Ukraine
Congress considers military and economic assistance, oversight, sanctions, and the conditions attached to U.S. support. A vote on a particular aid measure records a decision on that measure.
U.S. policy toward Iran
Questions include military action, congressional authorization, diplomacy, and sanctions. A war powers resolution addresses the use of U.S. armed forces; it does not establish every aspect of a member’s Iran policy.
