Congressional voting comparison
Compare current members’ party alignment with the eligible counts and records behind each percentage.
Compare recorded voting patterns
Current senators, using only their Senate entries in the selected Congress. Former members are outside this population. Members who changed chambers may have no entries here.
Roster observed Sep 29, 2026. Recorded party comes from each roll call, separately from the current roster affiliation. A member can appear in more than one recorded-party group.
Eligible entries require opposing Democratic and Republican yes/no majorities and a Democratic or Republican member casting yes/no. This measure describes recorded party alignment; it does not measure ideological moderation, cooperation, attendance, or reasons for a vote.
